 This is the work we did today, we analyzed a poem from Emily Dickinson and made a heart poster.

 This is the poem we covered i n class.  

 Today we made a document of definitions and explanations of vocabulary words. We learned many definitions. I liked today’s lesson, because i got to widen my vocabulary which i find a lot of interest in. Today i have no complaints it is a good day.

 Today we took an assessment on origin myths. I learned about an origin myth, it was about a father and a son. I liked the lesson today, it was pretty quick and not too hard. Today is Friday so it is a great day and I am excited for the weekend.

 Today we read the story, "The Jealous Father," and made a presentation on it. I learned about the story and how to make google slides. I liked todays lesson because it wasn't that hard. Today is a good day so far.

 Today we were on Newsela reading a story about the iroquois. I learned the story of the Great Turtle. I liked todays lesson, it was challenging but not overstimulating. Today I feel good, it has been a good day so far.

 Today we made Jam boards. We learned how to make jam boards about our origin myth. I liked making the jam boards because it was not hard work. My day is going really good. The day is a very light work day.

3 goals I want to achieve this year are getting all A’s, receiving my welding certificate, and have a winning season for lacrosse. Receiving all A’s is a goal of mine because I only have 4 classes here at lakeside, so it should be easy to manage classes and achieve the goal. I am in a welding course for dual enrollment, so all I have to do is stay consistent with the class and pass to receive to certificate. Finally, having a winning season for lacrosse isn’t far out of reach because we have a good team, so I will work hard to help the team and I achieve this goal.
