Dec 17th

My favorite thing about this class was how well constructed all of it was. The most engaging project would be the location story about our lives. I connected with the writing the most. I need support with poetry, I am not very natural at writing poems.

Tradition

One tradition that my family has is all the little cousins stay in my grandmas house, while all the older cousins (our parents) go somewhere to do white elephant. It is important because it keeps the family together.

How have the holidays changed

The holidays have changed in a way where it feels more about giving instead of receiving gifts. It also feels like a time to be with family and enjoy who you have around you rather than being greedy. Today we watched the color purple movie and compared it to the book.

Block day

I have had to forgive friends a lot throughout highschool. Teenage boys can make dumb decisions so you have to forgive a lot. Today we finished the book.

A song

There is a 2010's pop song that always reminds me of my sister getting lost in the woods for a couple minutes.

The best gift

The best gift I have ever received is my first gun, it taught me to be responsible and how to protect myself.

Dec 4th

If I were Celie after finding out about the letters, I would confront Mr._. I would think that he think I am worth nothing, because he doesn't think I should be able to see a letter from my sister. I would never forgive Mr._. This moment would matter so much because a sister, especially with their type of relationship, is worth the World. Today we read letters 61-65 and made our own open ended questions.

Dec 2nd

As I grew older I realized that my relationship with old friends didn't need as much communication as I thought. My old friends and I could go months without seeing each other, and still have the same bond. Today we read letters 51-55 and answered 6 questions.

Break

I was most thankful for a time to rest and take the stress of high school away. It was refreshing not having to worry about work for a whole week. Today we read letters 46-50 and answered 6 questions about them.
