If I had to write a poem about my life I would write it about how my family shaped me to be a man. I would write about how my dad has raised me in a tough loving way. I would also write about how my sister and mother have made me to be gentle and kind to people. Finally I would write about how my little brother coming into my life has shown me how to raise a child. Today we read an article and answered a prompt on it.

When I try and change my mood I usually take a shower and listen to uplifting music. These strategies help rewire my body for the day.

Something that I have outgrown that I miss is playing with neighborhood friends. Playing with neighborhood friends was always the best time running around without phones or any worries.

When I was a kid I had really flat feet. This kept me from doing all of the athletic things I wanted to do. This made me to be able to push through pain. Today we read chapter 6 and answered discussion questions.

A time I didn't feel like myself would be when I went to a frat party at Ga tech. I am a UGA fan since birth, and I went because my friend asked me to go. While I was there it didn't feel right, but it was still somewhat fun. Today we had a short class and got assigned our groups for our homework assignment.

I feel most at peace when I am in nature with no one around. I feel this way because everything I could do is under my control, and I am not vulnerable to anyone else's decisions. Today we read chapter 3 of the book, "Wild," and did a worksheet while reading.

A time I had to rely on someone else was when I was climbing a bridge to jump into the water off of, I was slipping. The way to get to the jump was to shimmy up the angled metal. It was about a 60 foot jump, and I was slipping down, and my friends had to pick me up, Today we reflected on chapter 1.

When I signed up for welding classes, I didn't know how much of a commitment it would be. I had to buy all types of things, and go to class everyday or I would fall behind. I learned the responsibility of making a schedule that works for me. Today we read some of the first chapter of Wild.

A time I had to step out of my comfort zone was when the starting goalie got benched in the second round playoff game last year. I was thrown in the game with no warm-up and it was pretty stressful. I ended up having the best game of my life. Today we started reading the book and answered questions about it.

I have been on a hike with my friends, we were hiking to a jumping rock that was about a 30 foot jump. The hike took a little under an hour, and we swam and jumped off the rock for a while. It felt mentally freeing, because no one was on their phones and we weren't stressed about anything. Today we were introduced to our new book, and did 2 assignments about hiking.

Over the break I spent my time going to the gym and practicing lacrosse. I also spent a lot of time with family and friends and enjoyed relaxing.  The first goal that I want to achieve this year is receiving  DeKalb  County Player of the  Year  for lacrosse . This Goal is important because I work very hard at my skills.  To accomplish my  goal  I will continue to practice every day, take every team practice seriously and play my best in each game. By May 2026, I plan to have received the award. The second goal that I want to achieve this year is to gain the starting role of goalie when I go to play in college.  This goal is important because I am going to play at Huntingdon college and they have had problems with their goalies in the past couple of years.  To achieve this  goal,  I will train everyday over the summer, continue to go to the gym to get stronger and faster, and work the hardest out of the goalie group in fal...
