 Martinet is someone who is on a power trip. It is when someone gets a little bit of power and abuses it. I have encountered these type of people at school. A lot of administrators are on a power trip. Understanding this word helps me understand how people are. Today we worked on vocabulary. I liked today’s lesson. Today is a good day.

August 16th prompt

3 goals I want to achieve this year are getting all A’s, receiving my welding certificate, and have a winning season for lacrosse. Receiving all A’s is a goal of mine because I only have 4 classes here at lakeside, so it should be easy to manage classes and achieve the goal. I am in a welding course for dual enrollment, so all I have to do is stay consistent with the class and pass to receive to certificate. Finally, having a winning season for lacrosse isn’t far out of reach because we have a good team, so I will work hard to help the team and I achieve this goal.
