 The first 5 letters of, "The Color Purple," made me feel sad for the girls that genuinely go through those types of struggles. The letters made a situation like that become so real and it is a scary thought, but also a necessary one. Today we got introduced to the book and read the first 5 letters.

 If I were Celie after finding out about the letters, I would confront Mr._. I would think that he think I am worth nothing, because he doesn't think I should be able to see a letter from my sister. I would never forgive Mr._. This moment would matter so much because a sister, especially with their type of relationship, is worth the World. Today we read letters 61-65 and made our own open ended questions.

 I was most thankful for a time to rest and take the stress of high school away. It was refreshing not having to worry about work for a whole week. Today we read letters 46-50 and answered 6 questions about them.
